Spartonian Newcomer

Taylor was asked along with several other young men to participate in a dance with the Spartonian (drill team) girls from Murray High last night. I couldn't get a close shot but he's in the center of the photo right of his partner just under the H in the background. He did his best and the dance got the desired reaction from the crowd. Before this dance, just the boys danced as a kind of spoof on the drill team and that was REALLY funny!

My friend, Mijken, was able to get a little dog. Her name is Princess.

We got together to celebrate Andrew's 23rd birthday and Natalie had an allergic reaction to something. I gave her a bath and here she is enjoying a jump on my bed.

Musings

I don't know if anyone ever reads this but I wanted to express my deep appreciation for my life. It gets better all of the time. I so enjoy my children, even when they are hogging the TV playing video games. I love that they all feel comfortable coming over any time for any reason. It was great to have David's family visit. I was so worried that Luke wouldn't like me so it was a wonderful surprise that he was okay with grandma holding him.

It was also such a wonderful treat when on Wednesday, Hailie surprised me in the kitchen. I didn't even know they'd walked in. I loved it when she grabbed the back of my legs and hugged them. "Hi Amma," she said. Then I picked her up and she began stroking my hair. "You're hair is brown. I like your hair. My hair is yellow." What a doll. As soon as I put her down, there was Natalie, arms out waiting to be picked up. I'm so blessed with grandchildren. And now there's one more on the way. How great is that?

I dedicate this message to my brother, Frank. He's a wonderful brother! Recently, we've been rediscovering how similar we are and how much we enjoy one another's company. He's always there for me with a funny story, some good advice and definitely some real help with things I'm working on! He's an incredible support and confidant. I LOVE YOU, FRANK!!!!
