Sean Nielsen's Missionary Farewell

March, 25th was also a great day for my nephew, Sean Nielsen. He spoke in his ward prior to leaving for a mission to Portland, Oregon, Spanish speaking on Grandpa Nielsen's birthday, April 11, 2012. Taylor, Adam's family and I attended along with Grandma, Becky's family, Cathy's family, Dan's family, and most of Bill's family. Bill and Shari were driving big rigs back from Texas but their children attended. It was a beautiful meeting and then lots of food and fun over at Uncle Frank's house.

Congratulations, Sean!! We know you'll do great things in Oregon!!

Happy Birthday, David!

My eldest son, David Crockett Lambson, celebrated his 28th birthday on Sunday, March 25, 2012. He was born on a Sunday evening during a March madness game at LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. I didn't have much experience with sports at the time and didn't understand why David's father was glued to the TV. (Actually I still don't really understand the fuss, but that's just me.)

David has been living with his family in Rexburg for a few years now and I wasn't able to be there personally to wish him a happy 28th but we did speak on the phone! I hope it was a wonderful day! Love you, son!

Flower Girls and Temple Memories

I cannot believe how much this photo captures Natalie's personality!!! Tuesday evening Jessica brought her family over and the dresses for the wedding Cheri ordered just happened to have arrived that afternoon. Jessica dressed them up and took some photos. She tried to get them to behave and stand together. Alone they cooperated but together, they couldn't seem to get it together. I LOVE this photo!

In other happenings, last evening I was invited to accompany Grandma and Frank's family to the Bountiful Temple to support Sean in receiving his endowment. It was such a pleasure and a wonderful, spiritual evening. All of Frank & Shelly's children were in the temple with them. What a blessing!

Happy Birthday, Andrew!

Yesterday, Andrew Michael Lambson turned 24 years of age!!! Adam made some brauts? I don't know how to spell it. I played in the girl's room with Natalie and the twins. We had fun.

Older Days

I was going through some photos last night trying to find some old photos of Cameron for his passport, when I found a disc. Today I put it in my computer and found some memories.  Enjoy!

Volcano Pancake

Last week Cheri and I were chatting and she was recounting how she made a puffy eggy concoction for the boys she nannies. It reminded me of a recipe I have for Volcano Pancake and so this Sunday morning I made it. I recall that my children enjoyed it very much.

Volcano Pancake

6 eggs

1 cup milk

1 cup flour

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup butter

Heat oven to 400 degrees.

Beat eggs, add milk, flour and salt. Whisk until smooth.

Melt butter in microwave and pour in a 10X13 pan.

Put egg mixture in pan.

Bake for 30-35 minutes.

Serve with cheese or syrup.
