Adam and Jessica took their girls on an outing so the twins came to visit at Grandma's house.  It was very enjoyable!

Wyatt Reed Lambson

I don't have a photo as I neglected to take my camera when I visited Wyatt last night. I thought I might just hold him for awhile and then take my leave when Jessica arrived but she fell asleep and forgot to come. I was glad I was there then, to feed Wyatt. He did very well. He ate almost 3 ounces of formula and weighs 4 pounds 12 ounces. He is still tiny but so sweet. He was so hungry and gave such a sad wail I was happy to be there to comfort him. I'm glad my children share theirs with me.

Ethan Wesley Lambson

This onesie was given to Ethan by Cheri and Daniel. Of course, I picked it out for them but I thought they'd want to see it. I had the priviledge of babysitting him and the girls last night while Adam and Jessica went to check on Wyatt. He's kind of plateaued which I don't like. I think he misses his brother!

Sunday Treasures

Sunday is a great day for me to relax and enjoy my family. I had the pleasure of taking Hailie and Natalie with me to church because Adam and Jessica were at the hospital picking up Ethan Wesley. Unfortunately, Wyatt Reed has to stay a few more days but soon they will be home together. I was able to hold Ethan.
Jessica and baby went home for a nap and Adam and I took the girls to the playground where much fun was had.

Hailie decided that she should take a photo of Grandma. A budding photographer?

All in all, another wonderful weekend!

Baby Shower Day

I didn't take any photos today. I'm having a hate relationship with my camera. I really don't know how to use it and I just get confused anyway. We had the shower at my dear sister, Cathy's home. Her whole family made it an excuse to get everything tidied up! THANKS CHRISTENSENS!

It was very fun! We had a nice luncheon. I was sorry so many people didn't come but those who were there enjoyed a wonderful time. We had chicken salad sandwiches which everyone could doll up themselves-olives (black and green), chips in 3 varieties, soda and lemonade, fruit and veggie trays, and a CONGRATULATIONS cake! SO MUCH FUN!

Jessica got blankets, diapers, gift cards, cash, onesies, jammies, and a history of the names Ethan and Wyatt by Aunt Beth! Very original and VERY cool!

Hailie and Natalie had a good time. Natalie decided that one of the burp towels was her new woobie! So darling! Hailie had a nice conversation with Grandma-Great!

I love days like this!

Oh and Ethan comes home tomorrow with Wyatt following in a few days! Such blessings!

This is the most recent photo I have the Wyatt and Ethan. Jessica had this taken last week. Ethan, on the right, will come home on Sunday and hopefully Wyatt will follow soon after. It's been a stressful time for all of us, especially Adam and Jessica but I feel these little boys are such a gift. I feel the same way about their sisters and their little cousin, Luke. We are so blessed to have these beautiful children in our lives.

Thank you, my children, David, Ashley, Adam and Jessica for bringing these beautiful babies into the world. And thank you for being such wonderful parents. I feel so blessed to be their grandma!

Something for Me!

In July when David was here for Whitney's wedding, he asked me what I do for myself. I answered, crochet, walk, read...Well, since then and maybe before a little bit I have been thinking that I really want to be healthier. So last week I started on my journey. Several years ago I participated in an exercise method that was proving effective but was not able to continue. I am now back at Curves and LOVING it! I've been working on modifying my diet to include more fiber and less processed foods. I'm not perfect and probably won't be here on earth, but I'm on a journey that will last a lifetime. I have goals to lose weight and feel better.  So...here we go!

Newest Photos of the Twins

I was able to hold Ethan yesterday but denied access to Wyatt. However, I am so glad Jessica is getting a lot of holding time with her boys. These are the latest of these handsome grandsons!

Little Wyatt

Grandma and Wyatt

Dancing Partner

This is Frank's photo. I'm just using it to tell what happened to me yesterday.
I was taking a walk in Murray Park and as I rounded the arburetum (sp?) a dragonfly flew about 5 feet directly in front of me. So I veered to the right and he veered to the left--then I veered to the left and he veered to the right. I almost said out loud "Do you want to dance?" Finally he moved off. Pretty funny!

Removals

I know some of you think I'm CRAZY but last night I was on call for Removals (picking up deceased loved ones to take into the care of our mortuary) and I had ONE call! It was very moving having the loved ones near. I felt like I was doing something useful!

I've done so many different things in my life. Some day I'll sit down and list all of the jobs I've had. it should be interesting!
I haven't been able to get up to the hospital but thankfully Jessica has some beautiful photos of herself and the boys. This is her with Wyatt!
